DEMOGRAPHICS

Conroe has a population of 43,000 and is located in Montgomery County, the county seat and home of the Lone Star Flag. To the west of Conroe is the city of Montgomery, with the City of Willis to the north and The Woodlands to the south. Seven miles west of Conroe is beautiful Lake Conroe which sports a 22,000 acre lake that offers fishing, camping, boating, golf, tennis and lodging from rustic cabins to hotel resorts.

Numerous residential subdivisions surround Lake Conroe, offering waterfront, water view and golf course homes. The county has a population estimated to exceed 263,000 with a total civilian labor force of 137,700.
